UK PROBATE REGISTERY & PROBATE OFFICES

The Probate Offices that issue a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration are known as the Probate registries.
The Principal Registry is situated in Central London, while there are 11 District Probate Registries and 18 Probate Sub-Registries. These are administered by HM Court service which is an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice.
